It seems like ages ago when we were coming to the end of the ski season at Manning Park Resort and winter was winding down. We were starting to prepare for camping at our RV Resorts and thinking about sliding at the Bridal Falls Waterpark. Then wham!

We are living in unprecedented times and it is hard to believe the new way of life that we are all having to adjust to. Over the past eight weeks, most of our team has been either working from home or discreetly doing their jobs at our Parks to keep everyone safe. We are ready to get back to doing what we do best; providing you with an outstanding camping experience.

During all the concerns surrounding COVID-19, Holiday Trails Resorts have been diligent in our efforts to “flatten the curve” and to do our part. We have been a refuge for many snowbirds coming back from their winter down south. We have made sure that our Resorts are safe by implementing stringent safety protocols. While maintaining these strict cleaning protocols, physical distancing and following other guidelines from the Public Health Authority, we are now ready to move forward.

Our team has been working on a summer operation plan and policies for each location that will follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as well as other best practices as we take the safety of our guests, employees and our communities seriously.

Starting this weekend with distancing guidelines in place our registration office and stores (takeout only) will reopen. Looking forward into June, we are working on getting our outdoor pools operational while ensuring that we can maintain social distancing and capacity maximums. Our washrooms and laundromats, with enhanced cleaning protocols, will also begin to reopen in June.

Making decisions on what is open and what is closed has not come easy. We have been diligently working through every aspect of our operations with the health and well-being of our guests, employees and community at the forefront. Developing, planning and working through new policies and procedures required to operate a business in this new way of life is not a simple task that we took lightly.

The team of Holiday Trails managers and staff have stepped up in a big way and have been coming together to create an environment where everyone can feel safe and enjoy the outdoors. We believe we have gone above and beyond to be at a place where guests and staff alike can feel safe.

As we work our way through this new reality, we kindly ask that you respect our decisions and follow our precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy. We are taking these challenges day by day and even hour by hour. At any point, plans may change. We will continue to keep you informed on any changes that arise as we go through the next few weeks.
