Holiday Trails Resorts General Questions



Q - Do I have to be a Member of Holiday Trails RV Resorts to use your facilities?

A - Absolutely not. While HTR Members do have some privileges such as early reservation dates, late check outs and no charge camping, we want everyone to have the opportunity to get away with their family and “live the dream” with us.

Q - Do I need reservations to stay at your resort?

A - We always recommend making reservations in advance to guaranty that your stay is relaxing and stress free from the moment you arrive. We can make reservations over the phone or online. We will attempt to accommodate any drive-in guests provided we have sites available.

Q - Can I pick any site I wish?

A - While we strive to accommodate preferences of a specific area in our resort we cannot guaranty a specific site for our guests. Sites are assigned by our registration team based upon RV size, length of stay and availability.

Q - Do you have WiFi?

A - In addition to the Free WiFi hotspots being installed for 2014, we have TENGO wireless internet available at all of our HTR parks which gives you WiFi access throughout the resort. There is a $3 daily charge for the service.

Q - Do you sell firewood?

A - We do sell firewood however you are welcome to bring your own if you choose. In the event of a fire ban we will not sell firewood but do have allowed propane fire pits available for sale at most resorts. 

Q - What is your water like?

A - All of our resorts have high quality drinking water.

Q - Can I bring my pet?

A - We are happy to have our guests bring their pets along on their vacation and we are installing dog runs in our resorts this year. There is a small addition to your nightly rate for pets and you must abide by our pet agreement during your stay.

Q - What methods of Payment do you accept?

A - We accept cash, traveller’s cheques, Mastercard, Visa, and Debit at all of our resorts.

Q - What time is Check out/Check in?

A - CHECK IN from Monday to Saturday is after 12:00 Noon, on a Sunday or Holiday Monday CHECK IN is after 3:00 pm. CHECK OUT is no later than 12:00 Noon. (HTR Members have a 3:00 pm Check out on Sundays or Holiday Mondays)

Q - What amenities do you have at your resort?

A - All Holiday Trails RV Resorts include (but are not limited to) general stores, heated pools, Laundromats, club houses, play grounds, washrooms and shower facilities.

Q - If I am interested in becoming a Member of Holiday Trails RV Resorts who should I talk to?

A - Most of our resorts have a Membership Consultant you can speak to about the benefits of becoming a Holiday Trails RV Resorts member during your stay with us. Bridal Falls Camperland RV Resort

Q - Do you have a store?

A - We have a general store at Camperland that sells food, ice, ice cream, basic RV supplies, and even contains an Agency Liquor store.

Q - Do you have Cabins available for Rent?

A - We have two Deluxe Camping Cabins on site Eagles Nest and Hawks Den.

Q - Are there any special events or theme weekends?

A - We host events every weekend including Bingo, Movie night, Christmas in July, Halloween in August, bike rodeos and many more. Please check our events calendar for dates.

Q - How far is it to Bridal Falls Waterpark from Camperland?

A - Bridal Falls Camperland actually surrounds Bridal Falls Waterpark.  You can walk directly from your RV site to the water slides in 5 minutes and with in and out privileges you have the flexibility of an all day activity.

Q - Are there any discounts for Camperland guests when using the Bridal Falls Waterpark?

A - We have discounted rates for Bridal Falls Waterpark for our Camperland/Motel guests while they are staying with us.

Q - Do you allow tents on RV sites?

A - We do allow guests to set up a small tent in addition to their RV at their site for an additional charge of $10/night provided it fits on the site. Sites are assigned by our registration team based upon RV size, length of stay and availability and tents are not considered when a site is assigned. Separate tenting sites are available as well.

Q - Where can I go for a meal nearby?

A - Camperland has a restaurant onsite. The Camperland Country Kitchen is open Wednesday through Sunday. There are also several restaurants within walking distance.


Bridgeview RV Resort

 Q - Do you have firepits?

A - We do have firepits in our wilderness area.  This area also has power and water facilities.

Q - How do we find you with our GPS?

You can use the coordinates or type in Bridgeview RV Resort, please do not use the street address.

Q - How can I have an alternative fire in my site?

A - We do rent propane campfires.  We do not allow patio firepits in our sites.

Q -  Can I bring my own wood?

A - Yes you can!  Pallets or treated wood or out of province wood is not allowed.

Q - How is your water?

A - We are on well water and it is very drinkable.


The Cedars RV Resort

Q - When does the pool open/close?

A - The pool is normally open from mid-May until October 1st depending on weather conditions. It is heated.

Q - How far are you from the border?

A - We are located approx. 12 miles from the Canadian border. You can easily access the resort using the Aldergrove, Sumas, or Peace Arch crossing.

Q - What amenities do you have?

A - We have a playground, heated pool, athletic field with horse shoes, volley ball, badminton and bocce ball. We also have a clubhouse with ping pong and library.

Q - What is there to do in the area?

A - You may visit Pioneer Park in Ferndale, Hovander Park. Go clam digging in nearby Birch bay. Visit beautiful Mount Baker. There are 4 casinos within 30 miles with the closest being 7 miles away.

Q - Is there shopping nearby?

A - Bellis Fair Mall is 7 miles away in Bellingham, outlet stores are located in Burlington which is approx 45 miles south.

Country Maples RV Resort

Q - Do you have cabins?

A - No not at this time.

Q - Do you rent RV’s?

A - No.

Q - Is your pool heated?

A - We heat the pool and maintain a temperature of 80 degrees.

Q - When does your pool/store/mini-golf open?

A - All of our amenities are in full operation as of the May long weekend.

Q - When does your pool/store/mini-golf close?

A - Pool closes Sept 15/13 – Store/Mini-golf closes Labour Day – possibly open a few hours following weekend.

Q - Do you have full time all year round sites for rent?

A - No you can rent monthly from Labour Day until May Long weekend.

Q - Do you sell firewood or can we bring our own?

A - We do sell firewood however you are welcome to bring your own if you choose. In the event of a fire ban we will not sell firewood but do have allowed propane fire pits available for rent.

Q - Can we pick our own site?

A - While we strive to accommodate preferences of a specific area in our resort we cannot guaranty a specific site for our guests. Sites are assigned by our registration team who do their best to get people in the areas they prefer when possible.

Q - Do you have wi-fi?

A - In addition to the free WiFi hotspot that will be installed in 2014 we have Tengo internet which give WiFi access throughout the resort.  Rates are three dollars a day.

Q - Do you have a map of the campground on-line?

A - Yes there is a resort map in each resort page.

Q - Is it noisy being on the Trans Canada Highway?

A - Country Maples is positioned in a valley away from Highway 1. As a result there is not an issue with Highway noise.

Q - Can I bring my pet?

A - We are happy to have our guests bring their pets along on their vacation and we have an off leash dog run in our resort. There is a small addition to your nightly rate for pets and you must abide by our pet agreement during your stay.

Q - Do you have Cable TV?

A - We do not have Cable TV service available to us at Country Maples- bring your satellite if you wish or we have a community Television in the clubhouse.

Q - How do i book two sites together online?

A - Use comment box and identify both parties when booking online.

Q - How do i book a group site?

A - Phone the office and have all information and credit cards for all participants.

Q - Am I in the treed area?

A - All sites are booked on a first come first serve bases but state a preference in the comment box.

Q - Is the pool open for the May long weekend?

A - Yes, weather permitting.

Q - What do I do if my credit card is not accepted online?

A - Check your security settings on your computer.

Q - Do you have a sani-dump?

A - Yes.

Q - Can we use our generator?

A - No.

Q - Is there cell phone service?

A - Yes.

Q - Is there cable service?

A - No.

Q - Is fire wood available?

A - Yes.

Q - Do we allow pets?

A. - Yes.

Q - Is there Wi-Fi?

A - Wi-Fi is extra for a nominal charge depending on your stay.

Q - Is your resort BIG RIG friendly?

A - Our campground is BIG RIG friendly all. All sites have 20-30-50 amp service. Cable is not included nor is Wi-Fi.

Q - Do you have a restaurant at your resort?

A - We do not have a restaurant on site. Hope is a scenic 15 minute drive and offers a bit of everything.

Q - Can you Quad/ATV/Snowmobile right from your RV site?

A - Yes you can Quad/ATV/Snowmobile etc right from your RV site or cabin. Just make sure you let us know when booking that you have these toys and require an ATV site.

Sunshine Valley Cabins

Q - Are cabins fully stocked? What do they include?

A - All cabins are fully stocked, all bedding, dishes, pots & pans included. Shampoo and dish soap as well. All you should really need to bring is your food and clothing. There is also a fridge, Stove, Microwave, coffee pot, and tea kettle in there.

Q - Do the cabins have electricity, heat and water?

A - Yes they have electric heat, power and running water.

Q - Is there an outside cooking area?

A - We have bbq’s on the porches for rent $10 per day if you bring your own 20 lb tank or $20 per day if you use our tank.

Q - Do the cabins have cablevision?

A - Cable TV is included in the cabins.

Q - Is there WiFi?

A - WiFi is extra for a nominal charge depending on your stay.

Q - Can you Quad/ATV/Snowmobile right from your cabin?

A - Yes you can Quad/ATV/Snowmobile etc right from your cabin or RV site. Just make sure you let us know when booking that you have these toys and require an ATV site.
