Q   What is a “reciprocal” camping system?

A   A separate system of North American RV resorts or campgrounds that HTR members may use for a nominal nightly fee. See Coast to Coast, AOR, RPI, and Sunbelt.

Q  What are your “introductory special” tours like?
A   Our staff are very friendly and like to show off our resorts while helping people feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. We are sure you will enjoy the experience of meeting them and finding out what we have to offer.

Q   Why should I join a camping club? (membership camping)

A   To gain new friends and assure a lifetime of affordable camping.

Q   Are there social activities?
A   Absolutely, each resort schedules their own.  These may include dances, bingo, magicians, children’s days like ‘Xmas in July’, movie nights, pot lucks, barbeques, singing and comedy acts, and crafts displays.

Q  Can my children use the membership?
A   Yes, until their 28th birthday.  After that they can purchase a family benefit plan membership at a great price.

Q   Can we make reservations?
A   Reservations are always recommended – particularly during peak season.

Q   What happens when the company acquires a new park?

A   Full memberships entitle access to all future parks without extra charge.

Q   As an HTR member do I pay nightly camping fees?
A   No, the membership means you camp in HTR resorts free of charge.
