Cumberland Lake Park

Description

Cumberland Lake Park Campground is a 57-acre recreational park, located on the beautiful glacier-fed Comox Lake only 5 km west of the Village of Cumberland, BC. Come and enjoy this family-oriented campground in the heart of the Comox Valley.

Directions

From Hwy 19: Take exit #117, turn on to Cumberland Rd and drive into downtown Cumberland (Cumberland Rd turns left into 4th St). Take a right on to Dunsmuir Ave, then left on to Sutton Rd and follow the signs to the park from there.

From Hwy 19A: Turn on to Royston Rd (heading towards Cumberland) and drive for 11 km to downtown Cumberland, turn left on to Sutton Rd and follow the signs to the park from there.

Reservations

Peak Season: Open May 1 – September 30

Reservations: Reservations recommended, contact the park directly.

Enquiries: For camping enquiries or questions regarding facilities, please email cumberland@htr.ca. Reservations are not accepted via email.

Additional fees may apply at check-in.

Check in: 12:00pm Noon
Check out: 11:00am

Restrictions

• Pets must be on leash and not left unattended
• Campfires permitted in designated sites.

2009 Rates (subject to change)

Nightly rates range from $24-$30 per night during peak season (May 15 - Sept. 6).  For specific rates or for off-season rates, please contact the park directly.

• Pets must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended
• Mats are not allowed in the grassed areas
• Reverse osmosis water filtering is not allowed at any site
• The wilderness area closes for the season on Oct. 5
• Water to the arizona area is turned off on Oct. 7 and to the front area on Oct. 14 (subject to weather conditions)
• Water will be made available from the west side of building only from 10:00am to 3:00pm only starting October 14
• The pool closes for the season on Sept. 8
• Please refer to your site map upon arrival for the full resort protocol
